Who are we and what do we do?

LaCava's Mobile Veterinary Service is a small business, privately owned by Dr. Cassandra LaCava. Dr. LaCava is a small animal veterinarian committed to providing quality veterinary care to pets in Western Connecticut. Dr. LaCava is an insured and Connecticut licensed veterinarian. She is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) .

We are equipped to provide well visits, preventative care, diagnostics, quality of life assessments, and end of life care. We are also a full service pharmacy. If we don't have your pet's medication in stock, we will have it sent right to your door!

Meet Your Veterinarian

Dr. LaCava is a lifelong resident of Brookfield, Connecticut, where she has always had a menagerie of animals. After graduating from Brookfield High School in 1997, she became a licensed massage therapist, which she incorporates into her veterinary practice. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University in 2006, with a Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in History. After working for one year in the veterinary field, she was accepted to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree) in 2011. She is now pursuing her lifelong dream of improving animal health in a personal and stress-free setting. She is passionate about providing quality, traditional, and integrative medical care to your pet. Dr. LaCava is always open to suggestions and comments from her clients, because no one knows their animal better than you. She understands the relationship that a person has with their pet, and fully respects and appreciates it.
